SOLO SHOW ALIVE TO BE RELEASED ON FRIDAY
THE DVD+CD DOCUMENTING HIS SUCCESSFUL TOUR
THE FINAL GIGS OF THE “SOLO SHOW” FROM NOVEMBER 24
VINICIO CAPOSSELA is back to the tune of “All alive, nothing dead” which refers to his “SOLO SHOW ALIVE”, the DVD + CD documenting his successful tour in theatres "SOLO SHOW” (more than 60 repeats in the biggest Italian cities and over 100,000 people between November 2008 and April 2009).
“SOLO SHOW ALIVE”, will be released on 13 November on Atlantic/Warner Music and it contains the live versions of songs and images from the “concert-show” held at the Teatro Verdi in Florence – a concert inspired by side shows scenery and imaginary, a sort of “freak circus”. The video was directed by Gianfranco Firriolo, who also shot the videoclip for “Il Gigante e il Mago”.
To coincide with the release of the live DVD+CD and by popular demand, DVD + CD live, Vinicio Capossela will resume the SOLO SHOW for the last repeats on 24 November. A fairy tale, “winter-like” setting will present some new “attractions” and a setlist which will change as the Christmas holidays approach.
“Now, before we take leave for good, we take advantage from the bad season coming to have the SOLO SHOW have one last ride with reindeers around the bin burning with fire, where the winter lonely people warm their hands, those for whom even Santa Claus would be a solution", says Vinicio Capossela. "Winter has always been the season of ghosts, of match-sellers and all the troubles longing to be turned into a feast by the chemistry of the mini lights. Only one had the chance to be born on 25 December and become the Saviour. All the others who tried to became weredogs, people who grow claws, fangs and hairs in December. You know, our usual attractions. Thanks, all the best and have a good time”.
